Many students eagerly returned to participate in an engaging activity centered around First Nations Culture. Mrs Morris planned an activity which was based on an Indigenous memory game, where participants matched pairs of symbols significant to First Nations culture.

As pairs were matched, the symbols were used to create a story reflecting their meanings. The story was then arranged in a circle, honouring a key aspect of First Nations culture. The narrative weaved together themes of hunting, animals, weather, family, and community, providing a rich and educational experience for all involved.

The week after, the students crafted stunning sand art, displaying their talents!
