At St Catherine's our curriculum goals address the question "What kind of people do we want our students to be and become?". To prepare our students for future success and productive lives, our curriculum promotes the skills, knowledge and attitudes needed to become spiritual, independent, reflective and self-directed learners.

As a Catholic School we include a ninth subject area: Religion. The Religious Education Curriculum Prep-12 is outlined by the Catholic Education Archdiocese of Brisbane. Formal instruction periods are provided by the class teacher in consultation with the Parish Priest, Principal and RE Co-ordinator. Regular class masses and liturgies support the program. All elements of the program should enhance the faith development of the home with special emphasis given to building social skills that will contribute to a more tolerant global community.
Specific needs of students are met with programs such as English as a Second Language, Learning Support and Enrichment Programs.
